As a Board Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics I also specialize in sports nutrition working with athletes of all levels from recreational to high school, college and professional. I believe nutrition is an essential complement to proper training to help athletes enhance their training & performance, improve recovery and avoid injury and illness. With over 20 years of experience as a registered dietitian, I have contributed to various behavior-based research projects in health promotion and sports medicine then made a shift to private practice where I counseled families and teens on issues such as picky eating, eating disorders, weight and growth concerns and sports nutrition. Currently, I work with athletes to develop a nutrition plan specifically tailored to address their unique needs and busy schedules, ensuring they receive adequate fuel to excel in training and performance without compromising their health and growth.
